Work closely with district professionals to make a measurable difference throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Possession of an active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certificate (TAT or in-process credentials not accepted) Solid background teaching mathematics at the high school level Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to quickly adapt to new settings and engage adolescent learners Willingness to fulfill all district credentialing requirements, including background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with state and district standards Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse high school learners Monitor student progress, assess understanding, and adjust instruction as needed Foster a positive classroom climate that encourages participation and growth Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and parents to optimize student outcomes Maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
