Job Description

This is for Full-time evening and night time shifts. Weekend availability is a must. There is a premium hourly rate for weekend shifts. Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support in daily activities. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about helping others and have experience in various caregiving settings. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Ensure residents clothing and linen are cleaned daily. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or similar positions is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is mandatory. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or developmental disabilities. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges. Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in client conditions promptly. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. A compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
