Position Title:

High School Mathematics Teacher Reports to:

Middle/High School Principal

Primary Function:

To assume all responsibilities for the institutional program including planning and delivering the curriculum and managing the students in the classroom. Funded by:

General Budget

Qualifications:

• Certified in Massachusetts in the subject area
• Knowledgeable about the Curriculum Frameworks
• Experience teaching the subject preferred

Responsibilities:

• Teach five sections of math;
• Use related computing software and possess appropriate computer skills;
• Use appropriate guidelines, curriculum, instructional strategies to continually develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum;
• Collect and document accurate information/data on student progress using tools and assessments rooted in appropriate curriculum standards;
• Complete all paperwork and reports required in a thorough and timely manner, including grades and weekly updating in online gradebook;
• Work collaboratively with members of the math department.
