Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy at Roseville Area Middle School for a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher for a 1.0 FTE position starting August 31, 2026. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, engaging instruction in Algebra 8 and Intermediate Algebra 8, fostering critical thinking, mathematical proficiency, and problem-solving skills among 8th-grade students. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous mathematics lessons aligned with state standards for Algebra 8 and Intermediate Algebra 8. Create an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning for all students. Assess student progress regularly using both formative and summative evaluations, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs. Collaborate with department colleagues, grade-level teams, and support staff to improve instructional practices and student outcomes. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic performance, behavior, and growth
Qualifications:
A MN Teaching License in secondary mathematics is required. Commitment to an equitable educational experience for all. Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.
Compensation:
Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution towards insurance.
