•Villano Elementary School is seeking a dynamic, certified elementary educator to serve as a leave replacement teacher for a unique, multi-grade instructional role spanning digital citizenship, STEM, and math intervention. This position is ideal for a versatile teacher who enjoys variety in their instructional day and is excited by hands-on, standards-driven teaching across content areas. Responsibilities Teach Digital Citizenship curriculum to students in grades 4-6, fostering safe, responsible, and informed technology use Deliver sixth grade STEM Cycle Course, engaging students in inquiry-based, hands-on learning aligned to NJ Student Learning Standards Provide targeted math intervention support to fourth and fifth grade students, using data to identify skill gaps and drive small-group and individualized instruction Monitor student progress using school-based data platforms and adjust instruction accordingly Collaborate with classroom teachers, the instructional team, and building administration to ensure continuity of instruction and alignment with building-wide goals Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and required documentation Communicate professionally and regularly with families regarding student progress Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning Qualifications Valid New Jersey Elementary Certification Experience teaching upper elementary students (grades 4-6) preferred Comfort teaching across multiple disciplines and grade levels Strong understanding of, or willingness to learn, digital citizenship and STEM curricula Experience with data-driven intervention strategies preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to build rapport quickly with students, staff, and families in a leave replacement capacity Why This Role This position offers a unique opportunity for an educator interested in STEM-based instruction and cross-curricular teaching to make a meaningful impact during a defined five-month term, with strong support from the Villano Elementary instructional team.
