Job Description

Job Summary We are currently looking for a part-time Math and English teacher with a passion for teaching students with elevated curriculums. This is on-site teaching position for after school enrichment program.
Subjects:
Math including up to Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry .
Reading/ELAR:
K-12 English Reading and writing with elevated curriculums including vocabular, grammar and writing. This position requires teaching and tutoring experience from school teaching including elementary and middle school level curriculum. Teach students within after-school hours, typically between 3:30-6pm and days can be flexible, usually 4-6 hours each week. Instruct students in group-based math classes with about 8-10 students. Provide high-quality, instructive and interactive class for students. Engage with students within dynamic classroom environment using elevated K-12 prepared content 1099 Independent Contract Preferred physically located at Allen, Frisco, Plano or McKinney TX for in-person class . Qualifications You must be highly competent in teaching elementary and high school level match classes will be plus. Availability of 2+ hours during Monday-Friday after 3:30pm. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in the United States An engaging personality to articulate curriculum, concepts and problem-solving process. Identify students' in-class proficiency and ensure they follow the class cadence. Requirements Proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics and English language arts at the elementary or middle school level. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional adaptability. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction methods. Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and with varying learning needs, including special education students.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
