Adjunct Instructor, Advanced Audience Insight Mining University of Southern California United States, California, Los Angeles 3720 Flower Street (Show on map) May 12, 2026 The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 523: Advanced Audience Insight Mining. This course focuses on introducing students to big data analytics, social network analysis, text-mining, and machine-learning to engage publics through data-driven storytelling. Students will apply advanced data analytic skills to understand applied clients' problems and solve these problems through research projects. Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials. The hourly range for this position is $37.88 - $46.96.
