Continuous Description New College of Florida is the nationally recognized honors college of the State University System in Florida. A small, innovative liberal arts institution, New College offers an individualized and student-centered curriculum where students receive narrative evaluations in lieu of grades. New College invites applications for the position of A djunct Professor for the fall semester in the Division of Natural Sciences in the following areas of concentration: Applied Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Marine Biology, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Physics and Statistics. Interested candidates should submit an application and upload the following documents: C.V., sample syllabus and a cover letter indicating area of interest. In addition, please identify two to three scholars willing to offer a verbal or written recommendation. Examples of Duties Instruct one or two courses at the undergraduate level Prepare course plans and materials Monitor student progress / attendance Advise students Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in relevant field. Experience working with undergraduate students.
