We are looking for a science teacher for our Middle School. The teacher must prayerfully help students think, live, love and lead as Christians through the delivery of subject matter, skills, and attitudes that will contribute to student development as mature, able, and responsible Christian students to the praise and glory of God. A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, preferably in child development or teaching. A teaching credential or masters is a plus. Personal Qualifications The teacher shall be one who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The teacher shall be a member in good standing of a local Bible-based church and shall lead a mature Christian Life. He/she shall be a person with spiritual, academic and leadership abilities that will allow him/her to "train up a child in the way he should go." The teacher shall reflect the purpose of the school to honor Christ in every class and in every activity. Professional Qualifications The teacher shall be a college graduate and one who feels called by God to the teaching profession. A teaching certificate or other professional training in teaching philosophy and methods is preferred. Work Schedule Typically a 185 day contract: Up to 175 instructional days plus 10 additional work days.

Daily hours:

30 minutes before instructional day begins until 30 minutes after student dismissal Attendance and participation in appropriate school events

• Additional duties as assigned by the Principal.
