- Education reimbursement and partnerships About the Role As a Middle School Math & Science Teacher at Merryhill School, you will help students build strong skills in mathematics, science, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
You will also:
- Deliver engaging, well-structured math and science lessons that support student learning and growth
- Provide personalized instruction to meet individual student needs and promote interactive learning
- Develop and distribute educational materials such as notes, summaries, assignments, and assessments
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and grades, and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success
- Participate actively in school meetings, events, and professional development opportunities
- Plan and facilitate dynamic educational activities both inside and outside the classroom
- Address student behavioral concerns promptly and compassionately, reporting serious concerns as needed What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching certificate preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching middle school math and/or science
- Strong knowledge of educational best practices and age-appropriate instruction
- Excellent communication, instructional, and classroom management skills
- Creative, energetic, and well-organized educator with high ethical standards
