FALL 2026
after school programs. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching and possess good classroom management skills while working with grades K-5 in a group setting. Our dynamic team inspires and engages young minds through a variety of activities (art, sports, academics) so a passion for working with children and a strong background in education is needed. We create the curriculum and provide all materials.
High Level Details Location:
multiple schools in Greenwich, CT Session is 8-12 weeks long pending location, you must be able to work a full session Programs take place during the school week Monday - Friday Each class takes place once per week over the session Each class is 1-1.5 hours long
Time:
starts after school between 3:15PM - 3:45PM pending school however we do ask instructors to be available 15 minutes beforehand and stay until most students are dismissed

Contract Compensation:
$100 per day/class Open to all teaching backgrounds, ideally looking for flexibility in terms of subject area coverage Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Site Director, manage the overall classroom environment, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality enrichment program. Lead a ~1-hour after-school class based on the pre-set YAS curriculum, combining educational and entertainment activities that are hands-on and engaging. Foster teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving through both structured activities and free play. Build strong, trusting relationships with children, creating a supportive and nurturing environment. Supervise activities, resolve conflicts, and manage emotional or behavioral issues with empathy and patience. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Communicate with parents and the YAS team as needed to ensure academic needs are being met. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and any shared spaces used for the program Adapt to changes, including shifts in classroom locations or materials, and handle unexpected situations with flexibility. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (preferred) Prior experience working with children in a group classroom setting, is highly preferred Experience with students in grades K-5 in a group setting is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with students, teachers, and staff Ability to quickly adapt to varying classroom environments, student needs, and instructional approaches Dependable, professional, and punctual Skilled at working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles First Aid and CPR Certifications are a plus Ability to pass a fingerprint background check Hiring Process Please submit your resume, highlighting your experience working with children or schools.
