```Duties```

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum for science classes
• Teach students various scientific concepts, including but not limited to discrete math, microbiology, genetics, and special education topics
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and engagement
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
• Supervise and conduct laboratory experiments and research projects
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience ```Experience```
• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Previous experience working with students in a teaching or mentoring capacity
• Strong knowledge of scientific principles and concepts, including discrete math, microbiology, genetics, etc.
• Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
• Experience in academic advising and mentoring students
• Ability to conduct research laboratory activities and experiments
• Proficiency in using technology in the classroom for instruction and assessment purposes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
