Job Description

Job Responsibilities Implement Project-Based Learning academic programs. Stimulates interest in education and career development activities and encourages participation by all members. Maintains a system of internal evaluation including individual student records, report card grades, attendance and progress. Periodically reviews individual student diagnostic data to identify areas in need of support and intervention. Identifies opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the educational program. Maintains consistent communication with supervisor in relation to the clubs academic progress. Qualifications BA/BS Degree from an accredited university or college in a field related to education. Must have a valid Florida Teaching Certificate. Experience Elementary Students Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work easily with people at all levels and geographies within the organization. Compensation This position is part time and offers an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour.
Schedule:
Summer:
Monday through Thursday, with hours falling between 8:00 am
  • 11:00 am (2 hour shifts).
School year:
Monday through Friday, with hours falling between 3:00pm
  • 5:30pm (up to 10 hours per week) for K-5th grade
Teachers Locations:
Port Salerno Hobe Sound Indiantown Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County offers all part-time staff 24 hours of PTO, paid holidays & 401(k) option with matching contribution. This position requires successful completion of a Florida Level 2 Background Screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
