Job Summary McKay Dermatology & MedSpa is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Medical Cosmetic Assistant to join our dermatology and MedSpa team. We are seeking someone who is strongest in cosmetic dermatology and procedures, with a solid understanding of dermatology and experience assisting with Mohs surgery and surgical closures. The ideal candidate is confident working with cosmetic patients, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience. Duties

• Assist with cosmetic consultations, treatments, and procedures
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for cosmetic services
• Assist with cosmetic photography and treatment preparation
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and recommended products
• Assist with Mohs surgery, closures, wound care, biopsies, and other dermatologic procedures
• Assist providers with medical and surgical dermatology as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment rooms
• Provide professional, friendly, and attentive patient care
• Work closely with our providers, MAs, and cosmetic team
• Help create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient Experience
• Strong cosmetic/MedSpa experience preferred
• Dermatology experience strongly preferred
• Experience assisting with Mohs surgery and dermatologic procedures
• Comfortable interacting with cosmetic patients and discussing treatment plans and products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and a warm, personable personality
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to multitask in a busy clinical and cosmetic environment
