Overview Join our vibrant team as a Before & After School Teacher and become a vital part of creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children before and after school hours. In this role, you will facilitate enriching activities, supervise children, and support their social and emotional development. Your energetic approach will inspire young learners to explore, grow, and thrive during their school day transitions. Responsibilities Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies and effective behavior management techniques Collaborate with school staff, parents, and team members to support each child's individual needs Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response plans Support children with special education needs or behavioral challenges with patience and tailored strategies Transport to and from school Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Valid certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols Experience in early childhood education or childhood development is desirable Ability to supervise children safely during outdoor activities or field trips and transporting to and from school Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners and needs Join us in shaping positive experiences for young learners!
