Year-Round Float Teacher If you love variety in your day, enjoy working with children of all ages, and want to make a lasting, long-term impact, we want you on our team! We are seeking a flexible, organized, and communicative Full-Time Float Teacher to support our classrooms and bring energy to children ranging from 6 months through 12 years old . As a Float Teacher, you'll get the unique opportunity to work across different age groups, assisting with daily routines, activities, and curriculum implementation where you are needed most. Join Our Permanent Team! We are looking for dedicated educators who want to grow with us long-term. This is a year-round position that continues through the summer, into the fall, and beyond. Because consistency is so important for our children, please note that we are looking for permanent team members rather than summer-only or seasonal staff. Available Tiers & Qualifications We are hiring for Full-Time positions. Candidates will be classified into one of the following DCFS tiers based on education and experience: Director Qualified Float Minimum of 60 college credit hours. At least 21 credit hours must be in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development. Teacher Qualified Float Minimum of 60 college credit hours with at least 6 credit hours in ECE or Child Development, OR hold a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Teacher's Aide Float High school diploma or GED equivalent.
General Job Requirements Commitment:
Desire for permanent, year-round employment continuing through the fall and school year.
Age:
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Background Check:
All employees must successfully complete a comprehensive background check upon hire.
Compliance:
Must meet all other Illinois DCFS requirements for the respective position.
