We have 5 programs that you will rotate through to offer adventure programming to a select group of students. We are looking for someone to run icebreakers and outside games. In the past our team leader has taught children how to rock climb, hike, build nature shelters, participate on ropes courses, and enjoying the outdoors. We are part of the public school and supported by the teachers and administrators in the building. We have an environment that gives children the structure to be able to try new things and feel safe.
Duties include:
Teaching and planning outdoor curriculum Leading rock climbing and high ropes course trips. General oversight of students Take children on field trips Supervision of children during adventures Driving a 15 passenger van
Hours:
1:00pm
  • 6:00pm Mon
  • Tues, Thurs
  • Fri 12:00pm
  • 6:00pm Tues Some additional hours for early release days and vacations There is the possibility of adding a lunch monitor position to add and additional 10-14 hours per week.
