To Be Determined Job Description On-Call Daily Substitutes Willow Hill School is looking to add to our pool of daily substitutes. Founded in 1970, Willow Hill School provides a supportive and individualized educational program for middle and high school students who are capable of advancing along a strong academic curriculum but have experienced frustration in earlier school settings. Located in Sudbury, MA our school consists of students in grades 6 through 12.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The on-call substitutes will be assigned to cover classes for various teachers at Willow Hill on an as needed basis. Duties include: Follow and deliver lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment Manage student behavior using school-approved policies and strategies Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and other school settings as needed Uphold all school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience directly serving children with learning differences or other special needs in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A problem solver For those interested please contact Colleen Morris, Chief Finance Officer at cmorris@willowhillschool.org
