Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible STEAM Engineering & Robotics Instructor to teach Snapology programs. This role requires travel throughout New Market and Monrovia, so reliable transportation and flexibility are essential. We will provide the lesson instructions and materials necessary for each class. This position is ideal for aspiring educators, substitute teachers, college students in education fields, or individuals looking for rewarding, flexible teaching work . Snapology of Silver Spring is looking for Part-Time instructors (4 - 10 hrs per week) who are available between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm during weekdays to teach 1-hr classes to students (K-6th grade) at designated elementary schools in Silver Spring, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach engaging Snapology STEAM programs for children (ages 2-14). Travel to various locations within New Market and Monrovia, MD to run classes & camps. Organize and maintain class materials, ensuring kits are prepared for future sessions. Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Snapology leadership. Promote Snapology programs to encourage repeat enrollments. Demonstrated reliability and initiative may lead to additional opportunities
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience teaching or working with children. Criminal & Child Clearances (must be current or can obtain). Teaching degree or relevant experience. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage class materials. Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel within our franchise area.

Work Hours & Commitment Expectation:
Hours are flexible and vary weekly. Must be willing to accept most available class assignments. Ideal candidates should have consistent availability for at least six months and be open to expanding their role as Snapology grows.
