Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, with a preferred emphasis in English, Science, or Math. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE with one of the following endorsements: DA, DC, DH, DI, DP, DE, DX, BA, BX, and EX Must be willing to attend MEERA training upon hire.Preferred:
Previous training in Design Thinking methodology, Maker Spaces or Project-Based Learning Prior exposure or formal training in Project-Based Learning (PBL) frameworks. If not already completed, the district explicitly requires the candidate to attend formal MEERA training upon hire. A student-centered teaching philosophy and passion for helping learners grow in problem solving. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.Responsibilities:
