Academic Year Required :
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, with a preferred emphasis in English, Science, or Math. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE with one of the following endorsements: DA, DC, DH, DI, DP, DE, DX, BA, BX, and EX Must be willing to attend MEERA training upon hire.
Preferred:
Previous training in Design Thinking methodology, Maker Spaces or Project-Based Learning Prior exposure or formal training in Project-Based Learning (PBL) frameworks. If not already completed, the district explicitly requires the candidate to attend formal MEERA training upon hire. A student-centered teaching philosophy and passion for helping learners grow in problem solving. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule.
Starting range:
$51,814
