Job Description

Love LEGO and enjoy working with kids? We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic LEGO Engineering Instructor to lead fun, hands-on after-school classes for elementary students. About the Job Teach fun, pre-planned LEGO Engineering lessons to K-2 students. Keep students engaged and make learning fun. Create a positive, safe, and professional classroom environment. Follow provided lesson plans and safety guidelines. Transport LEGO supplies to and from the school.
Extremely part-time:
approximately 1 hour per day, 4-5 days per week. Classes typically run for 5-6 weeks at a time . The Ideal Candidate Very reliable and dependable —you show up prepared and on time. Enthusiastic and professional. Patient, flexible, and adaptable. Enjoys working with children. Experience working with kids is preferred, but not required. Available on weekday afternoons between 3:00-5:00 PM . Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Able to pass a background check. What We Provide All LEGO supplies and curriculum. Pre-planned lessons and class materials. Paid training. A fun opportunity to make a positive impact on children in your community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with kids and wants a small, flexible part-time commitment . You'll typically teach at one school per weekday during each 5-6 week session.
Location:
Royal Oak, Michigan Additional teaching opportunities may be available throughout Metro Detroit in subjects such as coding, chess, robotics, fencing, sewing, rocketry, woodworking, and science. Reach out for more info!
