POSITION TITLE
Multilingual Teacher (Middle School)
REPORTS TO
Middle School Principal
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To directly or indirectly assist and support students and teachers as it aligns with the mission, vision, pillars of DaVinci Academy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Multilingual Teacher are to actively work alongside teachers and administration to ensure that DaVinci Academy implements best practices and high-quality instruction in order to increase student engagement, improve academic achievement, and to close the achievement gap. The following is a non-inclusive list of responsibilities that may be part of a Multilingual Teacher assignment. Work with individual students or small groups of students designated as ML to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring, through both push-in and pull-out support Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses Design lessons with clear, measurable goals that involve an appropriate mix of quality technology programs and engaging learning materials Implement increasingly intense student interventions as necessary and monitor student progress Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during ML services Participate in universal screening activities and assist with the analysis of data Provide data to the school teams and participate in decisions about student progress Develop lessons to meet the individual needs of students requiring ML services Follow the DaVinci Academy PBIS program, utilizing positive strategies to support the social and emotional development of all the students and maintain an orderly classroom Regularly communicate with parents via notes, phone calls, emails, Infinite Campus, conferences, etc. Maintain and improve professional skills by participating in faculty meetings and various staff development opportunities to stay current with best practices Collaborate with colleagues to reflect on effective teaching practices and work to continually improve skills Use data to drive instruction Actively participate in the Q Comp program by attending PLC meetings and frequently contributing ideas that further the school's mission Display a willingness to be observed on a regular basis and accept feedback and coaching from team leads and the administrative staff Develop and maintain positive relationships with the DaVinci Academy community, which includes Faculty, Administration, Staff, Parents, Students and Board Members Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Teaching License, preferred Tier 3 or Tier 4, in relevant field. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Curriculum planning/alignment and instructional experience Experience with differentiation Willingness to identify, interpret, and follow school policies and procedures Show initiative and function as a self-starter Physical demands: able to stand for long periods of time.
Position Information:
The 2026-2027 salary range for this position is $42,024 to $79,568.00. Salary offers will consider the candidate's experience, education, skills, and DaVinci Academy's budget. Experienced candidates should expect a salary offer around the midpoint of the salary range. In exceptional cases, salaries exceeding the midpoint may be offered to attract candidates for hard-to-fill positions or those with specialized skills. Such decisions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Modified year round, 188 duty days per year 3 days of PTO, and 10 days sick time to accrue Benefits eligible August 10, 2026
