A Middle or High School Teacher teaches middle school students, usually in grades 6 - 12, in a public or private school. Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. May mentor students, coach a school team or advise a student club. May specialize in working with students learning English or students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

00 pm -6 pm, Monday- Friday. We follow the Springfield Public School Calendar. Duties Lead and supervise a group of elementary age children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, including arts and crafts, sports, storytelling, and educational games Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an organized, positive environment conducive to learning and fun Demonstrate good character and serve as a role model Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or behavioral challenges Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing personalized attention when required Serve snack as outlined by the director. Follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by our directors. Qualifications Prior experience working with school-aged children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp counseling, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable Must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass both FCSR & fingerprint background screenings Must be available throughout the school year for weekday shifts from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline positively and effectively Certification in first aid and CPR or willingness to obtain if not already certified Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members confidently Join us in creating a joyful after-school environment where children can thrive!
