Position Summary The Senior Territory Sales Manager reports to the Director of Channel Sales. This is a full-time position based in Burlington, VT but we're open to a remote based candidate. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and deep channel sales experience. This represents a new area of our business, and will rely heavily on the established and proven skill set of the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
Manage and nurture new and existing partner relationships to maximize stated territory revenue target.
Network Growth:
Build healthy, productive, revenue-generating relationships with new and existing dealers, resellers, real estate management and architect/design firms.
Partner Recruitment:
Identify, qualify, and recruit new high-performing channel partners aligned with company business profiles.
Program Enablement:
Deliver partner onboarding training, product education and channel program sales tools.
Revenue Forecasting:
Accountable for meeting designated KPIs, tracking ongoing performance against targets, and managing accurate rolling forecasts from regional resellers.
KPI Accountability:
Meet or exceed clear metrics and key performance indicators as determined by the Director of Channel to ensure partner success and programmatic health.
Performance Incentives:
Create and execute strategic partner incentive programs as part of routine ongoing management to drive engagement, motivation, and sales performance in collaboration with the Director of Channel.
Brand Ambassadorship:
Represent the company as a key point of contact at regional industry events, trade shows, and high-level partner and networking meetings.
Required Qualifications:
8 to 10 years of experience in channel sales/partner management, preferably in manufacturing Proven and verifiable track record of building channel partner ecosystems Proven and verifiable ability to recruit and retain top producing partner relationships Possession of an established network of industry contacts to effectively leverage and drive business growth. Strong understanding of channel economics and partner business models Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills Experience developing and executing partner marketing initiatives Strong analytical abilities to evaluate partner performance and program ROI Exceptional communication and presentation skills Strong comfort level with and understanding of Hubspot (or similar CRM tools) and
Google Suite Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture & Design, or a related field. Experience in furniture manufacturing sector An existing network of relevant partner prospects
Travel Requirements:
