Based on experience ⭐ Join Our Team as an After‑School Enrichment Group Leader! Are you passionate about working with children and creating unforgettable experiences? The Discovery Lounge is hiring four dynamic, student‑centered individuals to join our After‑School Program as Group Leaders. This part‑time role is perfect for someone who loves inspiring young minds, leading activities, and making a meaningful impact every single afternoon. ⭐ What You'll Do As an After‑School Enrichment Group Leader, you will create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for students in grades K-5. You'll be the cornerstone of their after‑school experience, leading activities such as: Crafts and creative arts STEM projects and hands‑on experiments Group games and teamwork challenges Sports and physical activities Dance, music, and movement clubs You will also: Foster positive behavior using effective guidance and discipline techniques Develop exciting, age‑appropriate activities Maintain a clean, safe program site Serve as a positive role model, instilling honesty, respect, caring, and responsibility Support daily routines under the guidance of the After‑School Site Coordinator ⭐ Your Key Responsibilities Arrive on time, ready to make a difference Keep students safe by following all risk‑management policies Inspire and encourage students to participate actively Care for facilities, equipment, and supplies responsibly Plan and prepare materials for your activities ahead of time Communicate with administrators regarding concerns, incidents, or behaviors Follow all program policies and procedures Create opportunities for leadership, teamwork, and character building ⭐ Qualifications You Bring Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or higher education At least one year of experience working with school‑age children Reliable transportation A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for youth development Flexibility to be placed at any of our four locations during hiring ⭐ Why Join Us?
