Job Description

United Faith Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our Christ-centered educational ministry. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth in a nurturing and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore and excel in the field of science, while integrating Biblical principles to encourage students' growth in their faith and walk with Christ. This role focuses on developing students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually through engaging lessons and meaningful mentorship. Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive science lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while incorporating Biblical principles. Create interactive and hands-on learning experiences to engage students in the study of scientific concepts and Christian worldview. Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and teamwork, all grounded in faith. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support academic and spiritual growth. Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to ensure the success and holistic development of students. Incorporate technology and various teaching techniques to cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Stay current with advancements in education to integrate innovative, faith-based teaching methods and materials. Actively mentor and guide students in their spiritual and academic journeys, serving as a Christ-like role model. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Teaching certification or license for middle school is preferred. Proven experience teaching science at the middle school level. Ability to integrate faith seamlessly into academic instruction and serve as a spiritual mentor. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Passion for science and ministry, with the ability to inspire and guide students academically and spiritually. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with STEM or project-based learning approaches. Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom. Additional certification or training in Christian education leadership or related areas. Why Work With Us?
