Job Description

Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated nature-based educators for a forest school near Hickory. No formal background is required, but experience in childcare is a plus, particularly with forest school, nature school, Waldorf, Montessori or Reggio Emilia. Duties Lead/facilitate forest school sessions with preschoolers (ages 2-4) Requirements A genuine passion for nature, children, and alternative education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Grounded nervous system/calming presence for children. Able to hold strong boundaries with kindness. We invite candidates who are eager to make a difference in the lives of children and the community to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
