Job Description

Creative Minds Preschool is seeking a warm, energetic, and responsible After School Teacher to join our passionate team. This part-time position is perfect for Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, or Floater Teachers looking for a rewarding role in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Hours :
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM•6:00 PM or 3:00PM•6:00
PM Hourly Rate :
$15.00•$20.00 per hour (commensurates with experience and education) Qualifications Previous experience in after-school programs preferred BSAC certification required ECE (Early Childhood Education) credentials strongly preferred Experience working in a licensed childcare setting preferred Physically able to meet the demands of supervising and caring for young children A genuine passion for education and child development A commitment to supporting the emotional and social growth of children Key Responsibilities Actively engage children in daily afterschool activities as a positive role model Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment Show genuine care and concern for each child's individual needs Follow all school policies and procedures Assist with facility and equipment use to support programming Support basic administrative tasks as needed Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions Maintain open communication with co-teachers and school leadership Build strong, respectful relationships with parents Ensure children's health and safety at all times Help with snack time and meal distribution
