THRIVE is seeking a Middle School ELA Teacher to join our 6-8 team. We are looking for an educator who believes deeply in the potential of every student and is excited to build strong relationships while maintaining high academic expectations.

The ELA Teacher will:

Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned ELA instruction.

Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language skills.

Use student data to differentiate instruction and monitor growth.

Create an inclusive, structured, and joyful classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with families.

Support students' academic and social-emotional development.

Participate in professional development and school-wide activities.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree

New Mexico teaching license with 6-12 ELA endorsement or K-8 license

Criminal background clearance

Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred experience includes:

Middle school ELA instruction

Science of Reading and/or literacy intervention

New Mexico standards

Culturally and linguistically responsive teaching

TESOL certification and/or bilingualism

Direct Instruction and Social-Emotional Learning

Compensation & Benefits

Salary:

$57,368-$82,246, based on years of teaching experience and licensure level.
