Position Overview
We are seeking a strong, student-centered Science educator to teach grades 6-8. The ideal candidate believes deeply in the potential of every student and is committed to creating engaging, rigorous, and inclusive learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities - Provide standards-aligned Science instruction using THRIVE's shared curriculum
- Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs, including students with IEPs
- Use student data to plan instruction and accelerate achievement
- Build strong, positive relationships with students and families
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
- Participate in school-wide responsibilities and community events
- Engage in coaching, professional development, and ongoing reflection Additional Information

- New Mexico teaching license (K-8 or 6-12)
- Science endorsement strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in diverse school communities
- TESOL certification and/or bilingual Spanish skills
- Experience with culturally responsive teaching and social-emotional learning
