Scholars:

K12 Scholars is a leading learning center in Long Island dedicated to helping students excel academically. Our after-school program provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can complete homework, reinforce learning, and explore new skills. K12 Scholars is seeking a passionate After-School Teacher to join our team from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. You will support students with homework, guide educational activities, and foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage students in a safe, structured setting Assist with homework, tutoring, and enrichment activities Plan and lead educational and recreational activities Communicate with parents and staff as needed Maintain a positive and organized classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred Strong communication, patience, and creativity Ability to work from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM High school diploma required; college coursework in education or related field preferred

Pay:

$20 - $30 per hour, based on experience
