Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide to support teachers and enhance the learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with educators to facilitate classroom activities, assist with lesson planning, and provide individualized attention to students. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing atmosphere that promotes educational growth and development. Responsibilities Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment. Provide individualized attention and care to students, particularly during lessons and activities. Help with organizing classroom materials and resources for effective lesson delivery. Engage with students in various subjects, including Math, to reinforce learning concepts. Facilitate group activities and encourage collaboration among students. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance as needed to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Assist with toddler care or daycare responsibilities when necessary. Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning space. Experience in lesson planning or the ability to assist teachers in developing engaging educational content. Background in childcare or experience working in a daycare setting is preferred. Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus, promoting child-led learning experiences. Ability to educate students effectively across various subjects, including Math. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with students, parents, and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
