Valid teaching certification required. Provides flexible classroom coverage across multiple elementary grade levels as needed, stepping in to maintain continuity of instruction and support building-wide staffing needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that meet the academic needs of diverse learners. Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student growth and achievement. Differentiate instruction and adapt materials to support students with varying abilities, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds. Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal measures, using data to guide instructional decisions. Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and other educators to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom expectations, and strategies for support at home. Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, professional learning communities, and staff development sessions. Implement classroom management strategies that foster respect, responsibility, and student engagement. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessments, student progress, and compliance documentation as required by district and state policies. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in curriculum design, instructional methods, and educational technology.
