Student-Instructor Qualifications & Requirements Prior TK-6th grade teaching experience, or some experience with this age group is required. Must be comfortable working with the youth. Prior breaking experience is NOT required, but some dance or related-movement experience is required (paid training). Must learn the introductory WeeBreaker breaking curriculum & moves. Must learn & understand WeBreak's teaching methods. Must have a passion for learning and sharing breaking history & culture. Must be available for 1 PM - 5:30 PM after school teaching hours, for one-to-three hours of classes in between this time frame (at least 3 week days). Must meet 2 year commitment to the teaching apprenticeship. Must have reliable transportation. Must live within or near the teaching region (currently hiring within Portland). Responsibilities Complete apprentice training. Adhere to and teach WeBreak curriculum & methodology. Tracking program activities (e.g. teaching schedules, taking attendance, class announcements). Attend weekly meeting with manager (i.e. online). Sustain excellent communication with the team. Attend WeBreak company events (e.g. Soul Evolution, Recitals, Holiday Team Trip).
