Responsibilities Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, teamwork, and physical activity Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful environment Support children with homework help, tutoring, or skill-building exercises as needed Implement first aid protocols and respond promptly to minor injuries or emergencies using CPR or AED when necessary Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to communicate children's progress and address any concerns Maintain a clean, organized activity space that encourages participation and safety Qualifications Experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, and AED operation (or willingness to obtain) Background in early childhood education, childhood development, or special education is highly desirable Ability to lead outdoor activities and supervise children in various settings including sports coaching or outdoor work experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage children in diverse activities such as theater, sports, or arts & crafts Prior babysitting or daycare experience is a plus; familiarity with youth group activity facilitation is beneficial This position is ideal for passionate individuals dedicated to nurturing young minds through energetic engagement and responsible supervision.
