After School Instructor (STEM Education)

We are a leading provider of STEM education camps for students in the DFW area. Our classes are designed to provide engaging and hands-on learning experiences that inspire and excite children about the world of science, technology, engineering, and math.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic After School Instructor to join our team for the upcoming fall and spring season. As an instructor, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating fun and educational STEM activities for children. You will be working with a group of like-minded instructors to deliver a high-quality summer camp experience that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver STEM activities and lessons that are engaging and age-appropriate for children between 6 and 14 years old. Supervise and ensure the safety of students during all activities. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them grow and develop their skills. Collaborate with other instructors to ensure smooth delivery of class activities and programming. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and any concerns or issues. Maintain a clean and organized class environment. Participate in required training and development sessions.
Requirements:
Experience working with children in a classroom environment Strong passion for STEM education and a desire to inspire young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with others. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment This is an after school position for the fall semester.
