Teaching Positions-- Early Elementary & Reading/Language Arts Rise Academy Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time $35,000 - $62,000 a year 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Experience working with middle schoolers Literacy education Associate's degree Child Development Associate Certification Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Lead Teacher & Teacher Apprentice Positions at Rise Academy Rise Academy, a National Blue Ribbon Lubbock charter school, seeks excellence-oriented candidates for several positions ranging from PreK-4 to middle school. Candidates may start as teacher apprentices or as lead teachers, depending on circumstances. Must have a bachelor's degree (in any field) and have a strong presence with children. Some experience is strongly preferred.
The positions are:
+ Middle School Reading/LA Teacher . Candidate may be an experienced teacher or begin as an apprentice with a mentor teacher. A bachelor's degree is required. Certification is optional.
+ PreK-4 Teacher with an Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification, Plus one of the following qualifications: an Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; Montessori certification; at least 8 years of teaching experience in a nationally accredited childcare program or a Texas Rising Star program.
+ Teacher Apprentices -- grades 1st - 5th. Candidates will be paired with a mentor teacher to learn and practice Rise Academy's Direct Instruction methodology. Do Not apply if you don't meet qualifications.
