You must be available to work every school day 2:45-6pm, M-F. You must love children and be very responsible! You will work hard but will be rewarded with the joy of watching children grow and learn! We offer a family atmosphere and truly appreciate our staff members. Dependability is key as children need consistency! Fingerprint-based criminal background checks are a necessity. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but we will provide this training to the right person along with 24 hours of childcare training. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities after school. Implement lesson plans that promote learning and development in a safe environment. Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive atmosphere for all students. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of children. Support children with special needs and adapt activities to meet diverse learning requirements. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and well-being.
