After-School STEAM Instructor iCode North McKinney McKinney, TX Job Details Part-time $12 - $16 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Photography Youth programs teaching experience Working with students Student engagement classroom management Video editing Python HTML Full Job Description Position Overview The instructor is responsible for creating a fun learning experience that helps K-12 students learn the designated STEM material. We want the instructor to have fun and make the content fun while delivering it. Content is iCode proprietary material, but easy to follow. Previous experience teaching courses is a huge plus. Our classes are 2 hours/week (Monday - Saturday) and range from Minecraft/Roblox programming, Vex robotics, Scratch animation, YouTube video/audio editing and much more!
Requirements :
Teach the curricula provided while maintaining class discipline - curriculum training will be provided by iCode Team player, we have a family feel at iCode North Mckinney Positive attitude, outgoing personality and excellent people skills Ability to work with students ranging from K-12, previous experience running Tech camps is a huge plus!!! Demonstrated hobbies such as robotics, gaming, coding, or digital arts Experience in computing languages such as Scratch, HTML or Python plus Youtube/photography skills are good to have Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Self-motivated and driven Ability to commute/relocate:
