Job Description

Job Overview AcroKids Academy is looking for

PART-TIME

(possibly full-time during the summer months only) qualified teachers to care for the school age children in our AcroKids After School program! We serve children 4 to 12 years of age. Our program is not a typical "daycare". We operate inside of AcroSports Kids Center, so many of our children also attend extra classes each day in gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, and ninja. Our kids stay BUSY throughout the day so teachers with strong classroom management skills are vital. During the after school and summer programs our kids rotate around our buildings every 30-45 minutes, playing in the gymnastics and ninja gyms, outside on our playgrounds, upstairs in our game room, and much more. We also do field trips and special events weekly all summer. We have a fun and upbeat environment that our current staff will tell you is like no other! During the school year our staff come in the afternoons only from 1:30-6:00, Monday - Friday. No late nights or weekends! (Required hours vary during the summer, and could be either part-time or full-time.) At least 1 year experience in a licensed childcare center is strongly preferred, but we will train the right candidate if needed. Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED, and can pass a background check. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and will be

REQUIRED

to drive a small company bus. No special license is needed, and we will provide ample training, but this is a firm

REQUIREMENT

for employment. Must be a positive and uplifting person, love children of all ages, and be willing to be silly and have FUN. Compensation is dependent on qualifications.
