The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting children's educational and extracurricular development, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring a productive after-school experience. This role involves supervising students, assisting with homework, organizing activities, and promoting a positive learning atmosphere. Duties Supervise students during after-school hours to ensure their safety and well-being. Assist students with homework and academic assignments, providing guidance as needed. Organize and facilitate engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, or educational games to promote social skills and creativity. Maintain a structured environment that encourages positive behavior and discipline. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior. Collaborate with school staff to align activities with educational goals. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and school policies at all times. Support transportation arrangements if applicable, including bus driving responsibilities related to student pick-up or drop-off. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Patience, flexibility, and a caring attitude towards students of diverse backgrounds. Ability to organize activities that are both fun and educational. Basic knowledge of child development principles. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively. Prior experience working with children in an educational or extracurricular setting is preferred. Reliable transportation skills if involved in bus driving duties related to student transportation. Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
