Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant team as an After School Program Staff member at Knight's Club. In this energetic role, you will facilitate a variety of recreational, and social activities that promote youth development, foster positive behavior, and encourage teamwork. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help inspire young minds while ensuring their safety and well-being during after-school hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while developing your skills in youth engagement, and program coordination. Responsibilities Supervise children and youth during after-school hours, ensuring their safety at all times through attentive child supervision and behavior management. Experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred. Must be firm with students, adhering to a scheduled environment and willing to assist with indoor and outdoor play, cleanup, and other tasks needed at the time. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, with familiarity in first aid protocols to ensure safety during all activities. This is not required but highly suggested. Must be at least 18 years or older and out of high school. This is a 4-to-5-day position based on need. Must be able to work Monday -Friday 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. during school days and be flexible to work a morning (7:00- 12:30) or afternoon (12:30-6:00) shifts on school closure days (not holidays). We go by the closings from Bedford County Schools. Along with a background check, fingerprinting and a passed score from Mountain View Church's child safety course is required.
