Responsibilities Design and implement engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional design and learning technology tools. Develop and adapt curriculum materials suitable for middle school learners, integrating literacy education and hands-on experiments. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, assign coursework, and communicate with students and parents effectively. Conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding, using assessment-driven instruction techniques. Manage classroom behavior through proactive conflict management strategies while creating an inclusive environment that supports students with disabilities or special needs. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, instructional strategies, and data analysis of student performance data to inform targeted interventions. Implement academic interventions within Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks to support diverse learner needs. Experience Prior teaching experience in middle school science or related fields, with a strong emphasis on classroom management and student engagement. Experience developing curriculum that integrates math, literacy, and physical sciences for young learners. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations, assessment tools, and early childhood or elementary education principles. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs. Proficiency in using learning technology platforms such as LMS for instructional delivery and student assessment analysis.
