Job Description

The Colchester Parks & Recreation Department is seeking energetic, responsible, and creative individuals to join our A.C.E. Afterschool Program team for the 2026-2027 school year! If you enjoy working with children and creating a fun, engaging, and hands-on learning environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Afterschool Staff help provide a safe, supportive, and enriching experience for school-age children through games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, STEM activities, homework support, and more. We are looking for team members who are dependable, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and fun environment while building valuable experience in recreation, education, and youth development. All applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment. : Part-time hourly rate starting at $25/hour DOE. Hours of work would be Monday-Friday 2:30
  • 6:00 p.m., during the school year. Must possess an associate, bachelor's or master's degree. : Must be at least 18 years old. Part-time hourly rate starting at $19/hour DOE. Hours of work would be 2:30
  • 6:00 p.m. or 2:45
  • 6:00 p.m. (work 2, 3, 4 or 5 days) : Must be at least 16 years old. Part-time hourly rate starting at $17/hour DOE. Hours of work would be 2:30
