After School Program Staff:

The learning continues everyday after school at BCA! Join or team of knowledgeable and caring staff to bring exploration past the classroom. This position is for our Pre-Kindergarten program.

2:00-6:00

Monday-Friday Wages:

$20-$25/hour (Rate of pay will be based on experience and professionalism of each candidate)

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check. 2. Must be certified or obtaining certification in First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens (within 90 days of employment). 3. Must have completed Basic STARS Training and be current. 3. Must have at least one year experience working with children. 4. Must be a leader, be able to relate well with children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with BCA's program and philosophy.

Requirements:

1. Care, supervise, and monitor well being of children in your care 2. Prepare and help plan daily activities 3. Communicate effectively and greet all parents, guardians and children on a daily basis 4. Communicate effectively with co-teachers and supervisor 5. Engage with children and always use a warm and nurturing tone of voice 6. Maintain a professional environment at all times (i.e. no cell phones, food, chatting w/ staff) and represent BCA to company standards 7. Lead large groups of children and manage efficient transitions 8. Keep a clean and organized program space at all times. 9. Conduct closing duties. Wait with late pickup children.
