Location:
Giaudrone Middle School, Tacoma Public School District As an Enrichment Coach, you will ensure children receive meaningful and engaging instruction by implementing curriculum that support positive behavior-management and aligns with the school, district, and state requirements. If hired, you will provide daily physical and educational enrichment opportunities like homework support, STEAM activities, and sports & recreation - all while assisting in coordinating activities and events to support children academically, emotionally and physically giving parents confidence and peace of mind.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Child Care and/or Education (preferred). Experience working in urban communities and managing an OST program or other community-based youth program (preferred). Commitment to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Demonstrated positive attitude, patience, and previous experience working with diverse populations. Strong drive to improve the minds and lives of scholars within the community. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred). Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
