VCUarts Resource Lab Assistant Virginia Commonwealth University - 3.9 Richmond, VA Job Details 4 hours ago Qualifications Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds Working with students Professional art or design Full Job Description 45002457 907 Floyd Avenue, VCU Main Campus, Virginia, United States, 23284 Museums and Fine Arts Hourly/Wage School Of The Arts MBU Resource Lab Assistant (Non-Benefited) - Art Foundation Program - School of the Arts Computer lab monitors will provide support for all equipment housed in the Art Foundation Program resource lab.
Duties include:
Consulting with students about projects Class demonstrations Knowledge of Adobe Photo and Video editing software Review of digital files and starting prints for: ・Large format printer Laser engraver Direct to Garment (DTG) printer Vinyl cutters Cleaning equipment and facilities Inventory Maintain shared Google calendar Maintain queue for all print/cutting jobs via shared Google folder Developing and adding to ongoing sample library Maintain organization and cleanliness of the lab and equipment Engaging in and overseeing special projects based on the candidates' area of expertise. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in the arts or an arts related field or equivalent professional experience and training. Professional experience in Art & Design Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Fine Arts Teaching experience preferredBenefits:
