HRA is seeking applicants for our qualified pool of Seasonal Archaeological Technicians for work in our Boise, ID; Eugene and Portland, OR; Missoula, MT; and Seattle and Spokane, WA offices. What you'll do: Perform a range of archaeological tasks on projects across the Pacific Northwest. Who you are:

- Conduct fieldwork using appropriate field techniques. o This can include walking up to several miles per day in challenging terrain; hand-digging shovel probes and excavation units; lifting and pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds; and working in a broad range of temperatures and weather conditions.
- Effectively conduct research activities.
- Build positive relationships and help resolve issues constructively.
- Use effective verbal and written communication to listen and communicate with others.
- Are open to feedback and continuously improving your skills.
You bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in archaeology or anthropology. o Extensive field experience will also be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree; enrolled students nearing graduation (typically within one semester) will also be considered.
- Completion of an accredited field school or demonstrable equivalent experience.
You also have:
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs and database systems.
- Familiarity with the operations and use of cameras, GPS, and GIS equipment and software.
