SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid, California Teaching Credential authorized to teach Music 2. Appropriate ELL Authorization (CLAD or Equivalent) 3. Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check 4. Tuberculosis Clearance

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

1. Training in Orff-Schulwerk 2. Knowledge, proficiency and integration of Instructional Technology 3. Ability to integrate creative movement, dance, song, vocal technique, listening, pitched/non-pitched percussion, music literacy, recorder skills, solfege and multicultural approaches. 4. Strong organization, advocacy, and community relations skills

SALARY:

Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule ($58,273
