The ideal candidate should have a strong background in music, previous teaching experience is helpful but not a must. While we are looking for a teacher to teach specifically vocals and guitar, the ideal candidate for this role should be able to accompany singing students on piano for vocal warm-ups. This role offers a flexible work schedule & the opportunity to work in a creative environment with fellow musicians. Job Requirements Teach voice, guitar, or piano lessons to students of various ages and abilities, including children, teens, and adults Create lesson plans for students based on their individual learning needs Create a positive learning environment for students to thrive in and improve Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents through lesson logs Incorporate additional activities such as music theory, performance preparation, or fun, creative exercises to enrich lessons Help organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements Qualifications Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning strategies Skills in classroom management, behavior management, and childhood development principles Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels, including special education needs or adult learners Strong communication skills and patience to motivate students of all ages and abilities
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
